Our Heritage
It’s no accident that we hail from the heart of Somerset, a British county associated with powerful ley lines since time immemorial – studded with ancient henges, home to mystical Glastonbury and a magnet for those seeking a closer relationship with the Earth.
While much of this has been commercialised in recent years, we still believe there is a powerful truth at the core of Somerset’s association with natural forces. Commune is rooted in the landscape and communities of Somerset, and we hope that comes across in everything we do.
Embrace The Rituals
By bringing small, soothing rituals back into our daily routines – rituals that involve natural ingredients and ancient formulations – Commune aims to bring a taste of ancient lore back into the everyday. Western science is only now rediscovering how strongly the human body is impacted by ‘complimentary’ health practices such as mindful action or botanical formulations, and we believe that taking time to pause and recharge during our morning and eveningablutions can transform our way of being in the world.
